Laced Records of London has opened preorders for the Hitman: Codename 47 double vinyl soundtrack. The two-disc analog record set, composed by Jesper Kyd, is premastered by Joe Caithness and decorated with original illustrations by Daniel Weisz.

The heavyweight vinyl LP set ships in classic black or limited-edition color variations. The album contains twelve classic Hitman compositions from the stealth-action game for Windows, developed by IO Interactive and published in 2000 by Eidos.

Hitman: Codename 47 is currently available for Windows through Steam and GOG. The Hitman: Codename 47 and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin vinyl soundtracks also ship from distributor PixelCrib in Australia.

From the product page:
Hitman: Codename 47 was a relatively early score for Jesper Kyd, now a world-renowned, award-winning video game composer. It was as part of the European Demo Scene that Kyd first worked with the eventual founders of IO Interactive, going on to score their stealth-action debut. Despite the memory constraints of the DirectMusic system at the time, Kyd delivered a simmering combination of ambient and cinematic music. His signature sound of grand melodies set against groove-based electronica is in evidence here, especially in the hypnotic main title track.
