Laced Records of London has opened preorders for the Halo: Combat Evolved double vinyl soundtrack, published in collaboration with Halo Studios. Music is composed by Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori.

Comprised of 26 tracks from the 2001 first-person shooter, the tactical green and black variant of the double heavyweight LP set ships from Enjoy The Ride Records. Discs are housed in a wide-spined outer sleeve with printed inner sleeves. Sleeve artwork is by Isaac Hannaford, lead concept artist on Destiny (2014) at Bungie.

A behind-the-scenes production process video is streaming on the Laced Records YouTube channel. The digital edition of the Original Soundtrack is streaming on YouTube Music, Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited, published by Microsoft.

From the Enjoy the Ride Records page:
Halo: Combat Evolved was the quintessential console first-person shooter and its soundtrack laid the foundation for the franchise’s legendary sounds. Taking inspiration from various genres, the score combines sweeping orchestral cues with marching military snares, prog-rock percussion, and who can forget the Gregorian Monk chant?
