Hades II v1.0 by Supergiant Games scheduled for release on September 25th
During this week's Nintendo Direct livestream presentation, Hades II v1.0 for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles was slated for release on Thursday, September 25th.

In a previous livestream, Supergiant Games' Greg Kasavin was joined by Amir Rao and Darren Korb in the Creator's Voice for a behind-the-scenes video streaming on the Nintendo YouTube channel. Rooted in Greek myth, the direct sequel builds on the roguelike action role-playing gameplay of the original. Princess of the Underworld Melinoë, sister of Hades protagonist Zagreus, invokes the assistance of fully-voiced Olympian Gods in a bid to defeat Chronos, the Titan of Time.

The Unseen Update, the third major version update in Early Access, is available for Windows and Mac through Steam and the Epic Games Store, verified for use with the Steam Deck. Hades II leaves early access on September 25th, alongside the console launch.

The Original Soundtrack by composer Darren Korb is published through Steam and the Epic Games Store. A "Singles Playlist" is streaming on YouTube Music. The latest update introduces five new music tracks, including trailer theme "Rock and a Hard Place" (feat. Charybdis).

The musician is collaborating with Journey composer Austin Wintory on massively orchestral music for the soundtrack. Vocal performances are by Erin Yvette, Ashley Barrett and Judy Alice Lee, with saxophone by Sam Gendel and flute performed by Josh Plotner. Mastering is by Hans DeKline.
