Coinciding with PlayStation's State of Play presentation, 505 Games has published the Ghostrunner 2 playable demo. Returning to the post-apocalyptic cyberpunk setting, protagonist Jack takes on a violent AI cult infiltrating the last refuge of humanity.

The Ghostrunner sequel takes place one year after the events of the original game and expands beyond the Dharma Tower. Jack can take a break between cyber ninja action sequences and motorbike levels by returning to a central base of operations.

Nonlinear level design allows more freedom to explore new territories, introducing vehicular combat. Boss fights are also designed to be more interactive and challenging. Designed by One More Level, based in Kraków, the science fiction title features a synthwave soundtrack composed by Daniel Deluxe, We Are Magonia, Gost, Dan Terminus, and Arek Reikowski.

Ghostrunner 2 launches on October 26th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along with Windows through Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.
