Developed by the Far From Home dev team based in Wroclaw, Poland, first-person post-apocalyptic survival game Forever Skies launched for Windows through Steam Early Access.

Earth has been ravaged by an ecological disaster. Players are challenged to upgrade and customize a mobile high-tech airship base and scavenge resources to survive. Explore the ruins of our civilization and mysterious anomalies, face evolved fauna and flora, and hunt for viral pathogens to cure a mysterious illness.

The console edition will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 in 2024, with music by Dead Island composer Paweł Błaszczak. "Lone Scientist" from the music score is streaming on the developer's YouTube channel. The composer posted commentary, via Steam:

"Since Forever Skies is a game about isolation, apocalypse and mankind’s downfall and the need to start building again there were a few that got me into this mood. Films like - The Martian, Annihilation, Prospect and The Book of Eli and shows such as Dark or even certain episodes of Love, Death + Robots."
