Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales launched for the Nintendo DS console 17 years ago, on this date. The Chocobo Tales compilation album by Sapporo, Hokkaido-based studio Joe Down is on Ototoy and Amazon Music Unlimited. All tracks are streaming on YouTube Music, along with Spotify in Japan.

One year later, Nintendo Wii dungeon crawler "Labyrinth of Forgotten Time" launched in Japan, localized as Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. Excerpts of all tracks are streaming on digital music store Ototoy. A high-definition remake of the roguelike launched in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, titled "Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy."
