Ubisoft Montreal's Stone Age Far Cry series installment immerses players in a prehistoric world of redwood forests. In the pursuit of becoming the Apex Predator of the land of Oros, protagonist Takkar faces off against enemy tribes, defending against sabretooth tigers and woolly mammoths by crafting bone weapons and mastering fire.
The Original Game Soundtrack by Jason Graves utilizes various percussion instruments, bamboo, gravel, stone, clay, and an Aztec Death Whistle. Vocalist Malukah recorded screams, chants and whispers to dramatize encounters with the enemy Izila tribe. The 33-track album is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and the Ubisoft Music YouTube channel.
Far Cry Primal for PS4 is part of the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog. The Windows edition is hosted on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
