EA Sports College Football 27: Halftime Original Soundtrack premieres
In early June, publisher Electronic Arts released the official reveal trailer for EA Sports College Football 27.

In the sports game’s new Dynasty Blueprint management layer, players allocate resources each offseason toward their program’s recruitment, management, and facilities. The Road to Glory mode offers deeper character customization—guiding one custom-created athlete from high school through college. In addition, the arcade-style Mascot Mashup makes popular mascots playable throughout the course of an entire match.

Developed by Tiburon, the game's full release is scheduled for July 9th, available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, along with Windows PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Leading into launch, Electronic Arts Music has released two soundtrack albums, available through streaming platforms. EA Sports College Football 27: Halftime Original Soundtrack is comprised of twenty high-energy marching band arrangements.

Design director Christian Brandt writes on the project undertaken by the College Football Presentation Team:
We’ve collaborated with The Carolina Band, from The University of South Carolina, the winners of this past year’s Metallica Marching Band Competition 'For Whom the Band Tolls' to update our Campus Clash theme that you hear on Press Start and add 'Sad But True' to our menus as well.
Recorded in Nashville, College Football: Fight Songs, Vol. 3 (Original Soundtrack) spans 26 tracks, leading off with the “Campus Clash Theme” by Kris Bowers.

Over 100 musicians from Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music participated in recording—including, faculty, students, and alumni. The third consecutive year of collaboration with the university builds on player feedback on the prior two soundtrack volumes.

From EA.com:
College football has a unique sound, unlike any other. It is the band cutting through a timeout. It is the crowd going from scattered noise to one wall of sound. It is the home atmosphere taking over when momentum flips. Those audio cues are part of the identity of the sport, and we wanted that to come through more strongly in College Football 27.

We heard your amazing response to our pop covers from last year and this year, we’re back with more. 19 new pop covers will be part of your soundtrack this season as we continue to provide the game with more of that college football character from the moment you boot it up.
