A behind-the-scenes "Developer Insights" video can be viewed on the Destiny 2 YouTube channel, featuring footage of recording sessions. The trailer includes commentary by audio director Skye Lewin, composers Michael Salvatori and Michael Sechrist.

Music for the expansion is by Salvatori, Lewin, Sechrist, Josh Mosser, Rotem Moav, Pieter Schlosser, and Zevik Perry. Destiny 2: Lightfall is currently available for Xbox One and Series X|S, PS4 and PlayStation 5, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
