The playable demo is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S consoles, Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store. A comparison video has premiered on Microids' YouTube channel, offering a glimpse of the complete graphical overhaul entailed in the remake's development.
The adventure game places the player in the role of a young journalist who travels to a forgotten Latin American territory to fulfill the last wishes of the late explorer Valembois in searching out the last egg of the mythical Great White Birds. Traversal of land, sea, and air is accomplished by means of a technological marvel called the Hydraflot.
Music is by Inon Zur and Ori Zur. Preview tracks, including the main theme from the upcoming score, is streaming on Microids' YouTube channel. “I worked with Benoît Sokal for many years, and I liked him a lot, both as a person and an artist,” Inon Zur told Microids. “For me, it’s always a blast to be involved in another one of his incredible works.”
