Atlus Game Music has published Revelations: Persona Original Soundtrack, available on streaming platforms. Shin Megami Tensei spin-off title Megami Ibunroku Persona launched for Sony PlayStation thirty years ago, on this date. Today is also the birthday of art director and character designer Kazuma Kaneko.

The turn-based role-playing game opens with students of St. Hermelin High taking bets on whether reenacting an urban legend will summon a spirit or witness their future selves. A surreal string of events leads them to awaken personas, powerful hidden selves that defend them in battle, to protect their home in Mikage-cho from invading demons.

Both the Japanese-language original and English localization were included in their respective territories in the PlayStation Classic mini console in 2018. Music is by main sound composer Hidehito Aoki, and co-composers Misaki Okibe, Kenichi Tsuchiya, and Shoji Meguro.
