First-person puzzle game Q.U.B.E. 2 Ultimate Edition has launched exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The title's acronym is derived from the phrase "Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion."

UK-based studio Toxic Games treats all of the content from the original release built on Unreal Engine 4 to enhanced graphics and improved controls, adding new levels and additional features.

Archaeologist Amelia Cross finds herself in possession of a strange suit with attached high-tech gloves. The player must utilize these this equipment to manipulate gravity, momentum, and other physical forces, transforming the architectural structure of the mysterious environs.


The music score by Thomas Was Alone composer David Housden sets the tone as the player progresses through each level.

The soundtrack's haunting and evocative melodies unfold as the Amelia ventures further into the ruins of an ancient alien landscape, conveyed through an immersive first-person perspective. The 16-track digital album "QUBE 2 Original Soundtrack" is available through the composer's Bandcamp page and through Steam, along with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube Music.

Q.U.B.E. 2 is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, along with Windows via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Q.U.B.E. 2 Deluxe Edition includes the Two Puzzles Pack, digital soundtrack, and glove skin.

Q.U.B.E. 2 is the sequel to the hit first-person puzzle game Q.U.B.E. You are Amelia Cross, a stranded archaeologist who has mysteriously awoken among the sand swept ruins of an ancient alien landscape.
