Mycopunk to launch for PlayStation 5 consoles on Tuesday
The PlayStation Blog has announced the addition of Mycopunk for PlayStation 5 to the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog, available upon launch on Tuesday. The mission-based shooter depicts a planet-wide fungal catastrophe, placing players in control of a squad of exterminators known as the New Atlas Hazard Crew.

The game's score incorporates ambient and combat themes for the same locations. Developer Pigeons at Play's dynamically-synced music system transitions between calmer ambience and higher-energy combat tracks based on the intensity of the gameplay. In-game radio content is by Robbie Cribbs, with sound design by Nick Fellows.


Mycopunk Original Soundtrack is published by Laced Records, hosted on Bandcamp with streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music Unlimited. The 57-track synth-heavy soundtrack spans roughly three hours of music, composed by Aaron Schondorf, Johnum Palado, and Ian Yan.

Mycopunk is currently available in Early Access through Steam, published by Devolver Digital. The Spores & Scores bundle includes the Windows PC game and digital soundtrack in MP3 and WAV formats.
