Weston and Lindsay reunited for their latest PC game collaboration, launched earlier this week through Steam. Published by Future Friends Games, Exo Rally Championship is an off-road racing simulation with a science fiction setting.
The career mode unfolds across the terraformed forest colony of New Earth, meteor-pitted lunar surface of Dhool, and hazardous volcanic environs of Fusang, among other exoplanet locations.
As the campaign progresses, players repair, tune, and upgrade multiple rover classes to tackle alien terrain. In addition, the robust stage editor allows for experimentation with custom rally layouts, spanning up to 10 km², to share with others online. The launch trailer can be viewed on YouTube.
Exo Rally Championship Original Soundtrack is now available through Bandcamp and Steam in MP3 and FLAC file formats. Comprised of 29 tracks from the original game, an additional bonus vocal arrangement of “Not Coming Back” is performed by the composer.
Also available for streaming on Apple Music and Spotify, the album is described on the Steam product page as "a melancholy take on fast off-world rally racing, featuring heavy synths, atmospheric guitar, and driving rhythms built for brutal stages across hostile alien planets."
From the Steam product page:
Exo Rally Championship is the galaxy’s most dangerous off-road racing event - remote, unexplored, extreme exoplanetary rally. Master a brutally realistic racing simulation and fight for every second gained on your quest to become a champion.Apple Music - Exo Rally Championship (Original Game Soundtrack)
