Designed by Bubble Bobble creator Fukio Mitsuji, also known as MTJ, the shooting game arrived in arcades in 1988, running on Taito's H System hardware. Players navigate a complex, procedurally-generated maze while controlling the mechanical dragon, Syvalion.
Arcade Archives 2 Syvalion is also available, compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles. ACA2 titles add a new “Time Attack” mode to the lineup of the original, high score, and caravan modes of the Arcade Archives series.
Music for the game is by Yasuhisa Watanabe -Yack.- of Zuntata sound team. Syvalion Arcade Sound Tracks is streaming on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited.
