Star Ocean: The Divine Force for PS4 and PlayStation 5 joins PlayStation Plus Extra catalog on Tuesday, September 19th. The sixth mainline installment in the science fiction franchise by developer tri-Ace features character art by illustrator Akira Yasuda, aka Akiman.

The Pangalactic Federation, sworn to maintain order in the universe, has expanded into a military empire. On a routine transport mission, protagonist Raymond Lawrence’s merchant space vessel is attacked by the Federation's battleship Astoria, forcing him to seek refuge on an underdeveloped planet, called Aster IV. There he learns that Princess Laeticia and her homeland, the Kingdom of Aucerius, are under threat of invasion by the empire.

Composer Motoi Sakuraba's soundtrack album ships on four compact discs from the Square Enix store for North America and distributor CDJapan. Excerpts of all tracks are streaming on digital music store Ototoy.

Published by Square Enix, Star Ocean: The Divine Force is currently available for PlayStation consoles, Xbox One and Series X|S, along with Windows through Steam.
