First-person puzzle game Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary is now available for Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation consoles, and Windows through Steam. The commemorative edition sports refined visuals and adds a whole new chapter to the game.

London-based developer Toxic Games derived the acronym "Q.U.B.E." from the phrase "Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion." The brain-teaser revolves around the player's use of a pair of high-tech gloves that can manipulate colored blocks arranged in the three-dimensional environment.

Q.U.B.E. Original Soundtrack, published in 2012, is by the Toxic Games Composers team, comprised of musicians Ben Chandler, Steve Dunne, Felix Zirwes and Project Static. The 30-track album from the classic edition is on Bandcamp and Steam.

In 2014, Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut delivered a remastered edition of the independently developed puzzler, framed by a new storyline by Rob Yescombe. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release added a revised soundtrack, along with voice acting contributed by Rachel Robinson and Rupert Evans.

Q.U.B.E. 2 Ultimate Edition is also available, playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, featuring music by David Housden.

Serving as the ultimate celebration of a decade’s worth of brain-twisting first-person action, Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary adds refined visuals, completely redesigned and revised gameplay sections, and a whole new chapter to a fresh take on the classic puzzler entirely rebuilt from the ground up.

The new chapter - dubbed Sector 8 - offers an additional 4-6 hours of gameplay, adding fresh content to an anniversary edition that will also allow players to take on either the original 2012 version of the game, or 2014’s Director’s Cut complete with its voice-over narrative and revised soundtrack - both with Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary’s stunning new visuals.
