Panzer Paladin composer Patrice Bourgeault has published classic 8​-​bit covers of the science fiction platformer's soundtrack through Bandcamp and Steam.

Tribute Games' November 23 Free Content Update introduces the 8-bit Soundtrack and a new Challenge Mode, and increased Blacksmith storage for more user-forged weapons. The 32-track soundtrack utilizes Plogue's chipsounds tools to capture the spirit of vintage videogame audio.
