Taito has published developer NatsumeAtari's enhanched port The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors for Windows through Steam. The widescreen remaster of the Super Nintendo brawler sports hand-animated pixel art and adds two new playable characters.

The reimagining of the dystopian science fiction sidescroller The Ninja Warrirors is the second installment in the Tengo Project remake series, following Wild Guns Reloaded and preceding Pocky & Rocky Reshrined. All three titles feature music by veteran Natsume composer Hiroyuki Iwatsuki.

Zuntata Records previously pressed the two-disc CD soundtrack for The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, previewed on YouTube. The arcade score by Taito's sound team Zuntata is also included. The Ninja Saviors is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles.

Select one of five android ninjas, each with their own unique ninjutsu techniques, and take the battle to Banglar's army alone, or with a ninja partner, as part of Mulk's revolutionary force! Maintaining the original's 16-bit style, Return of the Warriors expands its playfield from 4:3 to a wide 16:9, adding heavily redrawn backgrounds, even more fluidly animated characters and explosive pyrotechnics.
