Developed by Tango Gameworks, Hi-Fi Rush arrives today on PlayStation 5 consoles, including the Arcade Challenge update.

From executive producer Shinji Mikami, the rhythm-based action game stars wannabe rockstar Chai and his ragtag team of combatants. Battle sequences are punctuated by timing-based combos, accompanied by their own music tracks.

The Hi-Fi Rush B-Sides album is available as a free download through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The 16 additional tracks from the Arcade Challenge update are composed by Shuichi Kobori, Masatoshi Yanagi and John Johanas.

Laced Records of London published the Hi-Fi Rush vinyl soundtrack, specially premastered by Joe Caithness. The deluxe box set featured 42 music tracks from the 2023 rhythm action game, contributed by Johanas, Kobori, Yanagi, Kayla Brown, The Glass Pyramids, and REO.

The digital edition of the album is available for purchase through Steam and streaming on Bethesda Softworks' YouTube channel. Licensed tracks featured on Spotify include songs by Nine Inch Nails and The Black Keys. Hi-Fi Rush is also available for Xbox Series X|S with Game Pass, along with Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

From the product page:
As it is for protagonist Chai, music is at the heart of Hi-Fi RUSH. The game’s substantial music team, including The Glass Pyramids, Shuichi Kobori, REO, Masatoshi Yanagi and Hi-Fi RUSH Game Director John Johanas, went all out for infectiously energetic rock. Immense riffs and propulsive drumming played an essential part in maintaining the tension and excitement of the whole experience and keeping players laser focused on the pulse.
