First published in 2004, Nobuo Uematsu's ten-track compilation Final Fantasy Song Book Mahoroba is now streaming on Spotify.

Arranged by Yuji Hasegawa, the album includes several instrumental renditions of Final Fantasy themes arranged for alto recorder and acoustic guitar. Alternately, vocal tracks performed by vocalist Manami Kiyota either include the Japanese lyrics from end themes or add original lyrics to previously instrumental tracks.

The album includes instrumental rendition of "The Place I'll Return to Someday" from Final Fantasy IX and "Fisherman's Horizon" from Final Fantasy VIII on alto recorder and acoustic guitar.

Three Japanese language vocal renditions featuring vocalist Manami Kiyota. They are "Eyes on Me" from Final Fantasy VIII, "Maybe Goodbye," arranging the farm theme from Final Fantasy VII, and the town theme from Final Fantasy III.
