Brooklyn-based record label Ship to Shore is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the arcade shoot-em-up Darius with the publication of Hisayoshi Ogura's soundtrack on blue or red vinyl.

The Darius vinyl soundtrack is the second volume in a series of analog records showcasing Taito's in-house band Zuntata. The first volume includes music from Night Striker, Metal Black and Elevator Action Returns, while the third volume bundles Bubble Bobble, Bubble Symphony, Pu-Li-Ru-La, Gun Frontier and Rayforce music scores.

Excerpts from the vinyl release are streaming on SoundCloud. The previously published digital soundtrack album is available for streaming through Apple Music.

From the product page:
Ogura's score combines pulsing rhythms with an experimental, avant-garde bent, giving Darius' high octane action a unique counterpoint. Housed in a gatefold jacket and featuring liner notes by both Ogura and GamesRadar writer Anthony Agnello, Darius is available on both red and blue vinyl.
