The soundtrack to Wayforward's DuckTales Remastered by Jake Kaufman (Virt) has been released online for digital download, with brief samples of each track available to stream on Amazon mp3 and iTunes. The album includes the remastered soundtrack, Hiroshige Tonomura's NES score and 8-bit arrangements of the new themes.

Die Gute Fabrik's indie puzzle game Where Is My Heart, designed by Bernie Schulenburg, is heading to PC and Mac on May 29 (and later Linux), replete with new levels, a revised menu system and Steam achievements. The music score by Alessandro Coronas is currently available to stream in full on Bandcamp.

Bastion composer Darren Korb has released the soundtrack to Supergiant Games' Transistor, coinciding with the release of the action role-playing game for PC and PlayStation 4. Five songs from the music score, including "We All Become" feature vocals by Ashley Barrett.

Cave Story creator Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya releases his new game Kero Blaster on May 11. Available through Playism and iTunes, the 2D platforming shooter for Windows and iPhone includes a music score containing original themes composed using the PxTone Collage music editing program designed by Studio Pixel.

Canadian singer-songwriter Coeur de Pirate has released the soundtrack to Ubisoft Montreal's Child of Light, available to stream in full through Bandcamp. A turn-based role-playing game set in the mythical kingdom of Lemuria, English voice over narration in verse and rhyme has been paired with Yoshitaka Amano concept art.

This weekend Capcom Japan released the Monster Hunter Frontier G two-disc soundtrack album by Street Fighter IV composer Hideyuki Fukasawa, "Eicheph" on twitter. The musician, whose scores include Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken, performs modular synthesizers in Tokyo as part of the Denshi Kaimen group.

The HAWKEN soundtrack, composed by Los Angeles-based musicians Ali Bavarian and Shadi Muklashy of Paper Sound, is now streaming in full on Bandcamp. The free to play multiplayer first person shooter by Adhesive Games depicts a battlefield of mechanized war machines on the dystopian scrapheaps of the planet Illal.

Swedish musician Jacob Lincke has scored the soundtrack to Cloudbuilt, a rocket-powered parkour shooter currently available through Steam. Hybridizing electronic and orchestral music, the independently developed PC title also throws in numerous moments of audio homage to the classic era of 8-bit game consoles.

Patrice Bourgeault's 21-track soundtrack to Mercenary Kings by Tribune Games is now available for "name your price" through Bandcamp. Independently funded through Kickstarter and featuring pixel art design by Paul Robertson, the 2D sidescrolling run and gun for PC, Mac and PS4 is currently planned for release on the PS Vita.
