Tiger Style has released the soundtrack to Waking Mars, a finalist in the 2012 Independent Games Festival in the category of excellence in audio. The 32-track album is available to purchase in your file format of choice through Bandcamp. Music is by Ethan Frederick Greene, Jef Drawbaugh, Scott Barber and other artists.

Mattias Häggström Gerdt and Josh Welchel, the composers of Mojang's Scrolls, will be writing original music for an upcoming voxel-based real-time strategy game. Castle Story, developed by Sauropod Studio, utilizes the Unity physics engine to allow for robust destruction of the voxel environment.

The latest Aycomusic arrangement by Eiko Ishiwata is her first from composer Nobuo Uematsu's score to Final Fantasy VII. The acoustic rendition of "Cosmo Canyon" was recorded using Eastman VL-80 violin, Irish whistle, Yamaha CGBN1 classical guitar and Martin D-15 acoustic guitar.
