Square Enix has announced its latest round of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy downloadable contents. DLC for the Nintendo 3DS rhythm game will soon be updated with a vocal track from the unreleased Final Fantasy Versus XIII, written by Kingdom Hearts series composer Yoko Shimomura.

Alec Holowka has uploaded his full twelve-track soundtrack to Offspring Fling, a woodland action puzzle game developed in collaboration with game designer Kyle Pulver and out now for PC and Mac. The team's previous title, Depict1, received the 2010 Newgrounds Tank Award for Best Game of the Year.

During a recent discussion with Grasshopper Manufacture chief sound officer Akira Yamaoka, we received word that Play For Japan: The Album Vol. 2 is intended for release in the near future. The game industry relief effort, which was organized following the Tohoku earthquake and tsunamis in Japan last year, features the participation of prominent game composers from various geographical regions and raises funds for the Red Cross in Japan.

Austin Wintory, composer of Thatgamecompany's Journey and flOw, has released a downloadable music bundle through his Fanbridge page. The roughly two dozen tracks include a "Threshold" acoustic mix from Journey, the Journey theme done entirely with flOw sounds, and other game-inspired music.

Independent studio Cube Noir is at work on the sprite-based text adventure Incursion. The digital soundtrack album is currently on sale through Desura, composed by Nick Borrego. Sales of the soundtrack will fund further development on the game.

Square Enix's official website for the soundtrack album to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for Nintendo 3DS has been updated with eight sample tracks from Disc 1 of 3. Music for the album, due out April 18, is composed by Yoko Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto and Tsuyoshi Sekito.

First composed in 2010 for the Jiyugaoka Eco Project, the two-track album is distributed through the musician's record label Dog Ear Records and is available to sample and purchase digitally through iTunes.
