Square Enix opens Final Fantasy VII Remake website

Earlier today during Sony's PlayStation Experience press conference, Square Enix announced that a remake of Final Fantasy VII is currently in development for PlayStation 4, directed by Tetsuya Nomura. The E3 2015 reveal trailer has been posted to the official website, featuring music by series composer Nobuo Uematsu.

The score is being written by Czech musician Tomáš Dvořák (Floex), previously responsible for the soundtracks to Machinarium and Samorost 2.

Earlier today, ie 11/11, Square Enix released the soundtrack to the fifth expansion pack from Final Fantasy XI, the long-running massively multiplayer online game. Excerpts of all eight music tracks from Forever Today: Final Fantasy XI Seekers of Adoulin Soundtrack Plus are currently streaming online.
